Dr. Sanne Maas, a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Molecular Cardiovascular Research (IMCAR) at Uniklinik RWTH Aachen, along with other team members, investigates why males and females respond differently to high-fat diet-induced obesity in their research. Their paper, titled „The calcium-sensing receptor (CaSR) in adipocytes contributes to sex differences in the susceptibility to high-fat diet-induced obesity and atherosclerosis“ (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39146…, was published in EBioMedicine.
