Together with Mingbo Cheng and Prof. Costa, Dr. Jitske Jansen and her team developed a new computational method called PHLOWER that helps scientists understand how cells develop and branch into different cell types. Their paper, “PHLOWER leverages single-cell multimodal data to infer complex, multi-branching cell differentiation trajectories,” received the “Paper of the Month” award for January 2026.
